Start with a normal working week
Note which days people are present, which rooms they use and when visitors arrive. Include events, deliveries and changing teams. This helps you plan around real use rather than desk count alone.
The examples below are starting points for a conversation, not mandatory hygiene standards or a universal recommendation for every workplace.
Three possible starting points
- Lightly used office or studio: A weekly visit may be a starting point if no additional cleaning is needed between visits.
- Regularly occupied office with a shared kitchen: Several visits each week may help cover the areas used most.
- High visitor numbers or intensive use: Some areas may benefit from daily attention. This does not automatically mean every surface needs the same treatment every day.
Consider washrooms and kitchens separately. Spills and other immediate cleaning needs should be addressed promptly, independently of the next scheduled visit.
Plan by area and task
Separate frequent tasks from work needed at longer intervals. Waste, used washrooms and kitchen surfaces may need a different schedule from quieter rooms. Floor care also depends on the material, weather and foot traffic.
For galleries, include exhibitions and events in your planning. Visitor areas before an opening may need a different arrangement from a quiet week. Our cleaning scope excludes artworks and exhibition objects.
Signs that the schedule needs adjusting
- Bins regularly fill before the next visit.
- Kitchens or washrooms need extra attention between appointments.
- New team members, higher occupancy or events change how the space is used.
- Rarely used rooms receive the same frequency as busy areas.
Discuss these observations after the first visits. A clear task list makes it easier to adjust frequency and effort where needed.
Choose a workable time window
Agree when access is possible and when cleaning will cause the least disruption. Morning, daytime, evening and weekend preferences are checked for feasibility and availability during the quote process. Selecting a time in the form does not reserve an appointment.
Describe your normal working week in our quote form. You can select “discuss together” for frequency. Our service overview helps you choose the tasks to include.
